World Travellers Welcome Home Treats

A couple in my knect group went backpacking around europe this summer. When they returned I decided to make them a welcome home dessert. After watching the many episode of cake boss I always wanted to play around with Fondant. So I asked my sister for help. We started off by making two batches of rice crispie squares. The first batched acted as the base. The second batched we moulded into the globe by using two bowels. Once that was complete we covered the rice crispies with icing to make the fondant stick. We made homemade marshmallow fondant and used food colouring to create the green and blue. We then covered the rice crispies with the marshmallow fondant. With the globe we mixed the blue and green fondant. I then made two lego people out of yellow modelling chocolate and painted clothes on them by using different coloured modelling chocolate.
